Handedness: The riot shield only functions properly when wielded in one hand.

Special: You have total cover. When you use a standard action to do something other than Cower, Assault, Ranged Guard, or Melee Guard, the riot shield stops granting you total cover until the beginning of your next turn, and only grants you cover instead. When a creature would hit you with a melee attack, you may inflict one wound on the riot shield to take one less wound from the attack. Holding a riot shield gives you -1 to Visual Perception and -1 to Accuracy.
