Thunderbird

A thunderbird is a giant eagle, with horns and teeth. It has one "hand", its beak, and deals +4 damage with unarmed attacks it makes with that "hand". At the end of the Thunderbird's turn, if it's in flight, the flapping of its wings makes an extremely loud noise, attacking all other creatures and objects in a 150 meter blast for 1d6+2 Noise damage. Any other attack the thunderbird makes deals +2 damage, and it deals +2 damage against objects.

Two of the thunderbird's molars are actually blue gems.

Thunderbirds are quite smart, but can only speak Bird languages.

Advancement

The Thunderbird may be given up to two abilities, with no more than four from any given category, for the normal price.

Lightning Eyes (100 points): The Thunderbird gains two Lightning Bolt weapons which have a range of 40m/80m and deal 1d6 Electricity damage (before Abilities). Whenever the Thunderbird successfully inflicts one or more wounds with a Lightning Bolt weapon, it may make another Lightning Bolt attack for free (this can trigger itself). Its movement speeds increase by 6 meters.

Raiju (100 points): The Thunderbird's Lightning Bolt weapons get +20m/+60m to range. As a standard action, it can shrink itself down to a 2 centimeter wide, 0.1 kilogram sphere. While in this shrunken state, it is paralyzed, and returning to full size takes 2 rounds of purely mental concentration.

Stymphalian Wings (100 points): The Thunderbird's feathers become sharp and metallic. It gains a Heavy Piercing attack that targets all creatures and unattended objects in a 90 degree, 120 meter arc spray for 1d6 Physical damage. The Thunderbird's fly speed increases by 12 meters, but its aerobatics distance increases by 4 meters.
