If it was a projectile, it stops and falls to the ground. If it was in the middle of running, it stops any further movement for its current action.

Casting Nullify Momentum does not expend the charge.

Unique Boosts: Quicknull (+2 Tiers): The cast time becomes an Immediate Action.
